Hi! Everyone! Jemima Jones Beck here.
Have you other pugs out there ever noticed that whenever a human gets a new job all the other humans that they talk to invariably ask them "...and does your new job offer benefits?"?
I always wondered what they were talking about until today when I discovered the benefits of Mom ditching me every day to go to work.
This morning Mom took me for a nice long walk around Sloan's Lake...
Where I saw my very fist baby winged devil of the season...then we went to the dog park and finally to mecca, otherwise known as PetsMart where Mom bought me...
My new friend, Nibbles. I named my new buddy Nibbles because I like to nibble his little antennae. Mom also bought the cats some new crinkle toys and some cat nip soap bubbles but I don't have pictures of their toys because who cares about them?! Not me. I think that Mom may have taken me on a nice walk, to the park, and to PetsMart for presents because she feels guilty about leaving me all day! Just like you all said in the comments of my last post: Mom leaving me for a job has resulted in treats and toys and extra love! That's a BENEFIT! I get it now.
But the very best benefit of all is that Grandma Andrea has promised to come and see me whenever she can while Mom is at work! She may even take me for a hike next week! I looooooooooove Grandma Andrea so that's an extra special benefit (did you see all the o's in the word "love" ? That's because I love Grandma Andrea a LOT, so she gets extra o's)!
Grandma Andrea brought these pretty flowers for Mom and Dad from her garden when she came to see me yesterday - aren't they nice?
