Grandma Andrea's Sweater

Hi! Everyone!
As promised here are two pictures (taken by Leo - thanks Leo!) of Grandma Andrea in the Mother's Day Sweater that Mom knit for her this year.
Those of you who are knitters may want to know that Mom used this pattern and this yarn in color 5225 to knit Grandma Andrea's sweater.
I am impressed that Mom managed to knit, block, and assemble Grandma Andrea's sweater in only five days, but Mom is sad that she finished it one day late.
Grandma Andrea, you're so silly!

And here is a gratuitous shot of Dad's butt. Or rather, of me chewing my Christmas Tree while using Dad's butt as a prop for said tree. You can also see that Mom's book collection is getting out of hand again. I see another bookshelf in our future.
Love,
Jemima Jones Beck
PS: Mom wanted me to let you all know that our internet is not working at home so we are having trouble getting around to visit our blog friends, but hopefully our internet will be back up and running soon!

Here's a tip for making bookshelves look orderly, even if they're somewhat messy....put them in order by the color of their spine. It creates a visual statement and looks tidy even if the books are rather piled up.

And we likey the gratuitous booty shot. Hubba Hubba! ;)

I love grandma Andrea's sweater! It is fabulous :)

There is nothing wrong with a huge book collection lol I found those under the bed tupperware containers fit paperbacks very well :D

Indy used to lay on me like that too.

She did ALL that in FIVE days? It takes my Woman FIVE days just to assemble sweaters - baby sweaters at that!!

hi Jemima! i can't believe your mom did that sweater! it is so nice and fits so perfect!
ps Mom thought that the "butt" was a joke. she looked at the picture carefully earlier today and still she was sure that you were laying on the couch... until right now, she finally got it. hahaha silly mom!

That is a beautiful sweater. Your mom did a beautiful job on it. Love the dad butt shot. As far as bookcases go, mom has 5 downstairs (not counting the 2 for cd's) and three upstairs.

And she forgot the two in the sewing room.
